Government Building, Charlotte, NCRadco has worked with the City of Charlotte on many of their facilities from the new Law Enforcement Center, the renovated Afro-American Cultural Center, the Transportation Maintenance and Operations Center, Spirit Square, Government Center, numerous fire stations, and Discovery Place. We have provided built up, modified, and single-ply reproofing services for several of these facilities as well as providing ongoing maintenance and repairs. |
Mint Museum, Charlotte, NCPriceless works of art require protection from the elements that cannot fail. Radco was entrusted with the installation of a roof system that will do just that! “The Eight” may have raindrops in their landscapes, but there will be no raindrops in the Mint Museum. This project included installations for the museum and for the pedestal that will support a future condominium and office tower. The logistics are always demanding when working in uptown, but very well worth it to be a part of a striking addition to the City Center. |

School, Charlotte, NCJ.T. Williams Middle School stands out not only because of its demanding International Baccalaureate program, but also because of it unusual gymnasium! There are only 7 domes of this type in the US and Radco was asked to handle the reproofing project on one of them. The installation of a modified bitumen veral on this project required us to get out the Geometry book! The is not a single straight line on the roof. As a result, the installation of the membrane was extraordinarily difficult. Not to mention the safety requirements related to working on a dome. |

Marriott HotelsRoofing membrane is not what is used to be. Single ply membranes such as this PVC used on the Renaissance Hotel in SouthPark can be manufactured in an array of colors. When the hotel’s guests look out the window they see a neatly installed field of roof that compliments the masonry work of the rest of the structure. This project along with the reroofing project at the Marriott SouthPark and ongoing maintenance and repairs at the Marriott City Center as well as various Marriott Courtyards show how much confidence the organization has in Radco. |

Luxury Condominiums, Charlotte, NCThe prestigious Rosewood Condominiums in Charlotte is graced with stunningly detailed roofs. Copper and shingles combine at the turrets where a decorative copper ring also circles each turret. These required the highest levels of craftsmanship. The Common Areas are covered with a beautiful standing seam copper roof that compliments the outstanding design and materials of the project. |

High Rise Office Tower, Charlotte, NCInterstate Towers has numerous levels that serve and balconies and walkways on its highest floors. Radco was responsible for the installation of a modified bitumen roof system with pavers serving as a roof surface. This allows trafficking over the roof areas with minimal impact to the roof membrane. They also provide an appealing look to the areas immediately outside to the windows of some of Charlotte's top executives. |

Manufacturing Facility, Davidson, NCThis manufacturing facility was recently renovated and retooled to perform as one of our areas many shops for our race teams. Nascar is huge in the Carolinas and it’s great to know that our reproofing work done at this facility has held up to the high standards required by these teams. Just go inside and see that you could probably put the floor to the white glove test and be a success. Under these circumstances a reliable roof system is a must and that is what we provide on an ongoing basis! |

Hospital, Charlotte, NCThe installation of a roof system on an active major hospital heliport is a logistical challenge! Also, try reroofing the emergency room without impacting the continuous ambulance traffic at the area's largest hospital! It can be done and we did it! Radco installed both roofs for the Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, NC. This work was done in addition to several other reproofing projects on the main campus as well at outlying facilities. |
